Pastor Tommy Reed
 

Tommy grew up at Sidney, KY and is a graduate of Belfry High School. It was at Sidney Missionary Baptist Church that he was born again thru faith in Christ in April 1979 at the age of 17. He served in many ministries and positions as a layman at SMBC and later at Belfry First Baptist. Tommy answered God’s call to His ministry in August 1997, being licensed and ordained in June 1998. He began his first pastorate with the precious people at McVeigh Baptist Church in McVeigh, KY in April 1998.

Tommy had the wonderful privilege of beginning to serve with the precious people at the Fitzpatrick First Baptist Church of Prestonsburg, KY in November 2003 until today.

Tommy is married to his high school sweetheart, Dawn Faulkner Reed, and has two beautiful children, Jessica and Matthew.  He really enjoys telling The Story, traveling, cooking, listening to music, old classic cars, watching the Kentucky Wildcats, a good laugh, and being with family and friends.

Associate Pastor Keenan Darby FB Twit
 
Keenan joined the Fitzpatrick Baptist family in July 2014 as the Associate Pastor, Minister of Youth and Children. His job is to organize all activities regarding nursery through high school youth, as well as manage all volunteers who participate. He and his wife Erica are blessed with two beautiful children of their own: Kaylena and Madilyn. Keenan loves spending time with his family, sports, hunting, and seeing people accept Christ as their savior.
 
As a young man, Keenan pursued the career of being an insurance agent and future owner of the family’s insurance business. During this time he also assisted his Youth Pastor/mentor, Chris Bumbalough, at his home church in Prestonsburg, KY. In 2010 Keenan received the call on his life to surrender to full-time ministry. Not long after his calling, God opened a door for Keenan to move to Clintwood, VA and serve in full time youth ministry. He began his collegiate career at Clear Creak Baptist Bible College and finished with a BA in Christian Counseling from Liberty University in 2015.
 
Keenan’s favorite verse is Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”

Music Leader Norm Marcum
 
Norm began ministering in music at Fitzpatrick Baptist in 2005 as a soloist, choir director and worship leader. He is also involved in the church’s youth program and serves as campus missionary at Big Sandy Community & Technical College since 2010.
 
A graduate of Lincoln Memorial University and University of the Cumberlands, Norm is a business and careers teacher at Adam’s Middle School in Prestonsburg, KY where he and his wife reside. They have one son, Jordan, who is a sophomore at Morehead State University and serves along side his father in the church’s praise band “P.Triple 3.” (Psalm 33:3)
 
Worship leader, singer, songwriter Norm Marcum began his music ministry in the 1980’s as a member of the Binghamtown Baptist Church choir and The Messengers Quartet in Bell Co. KY. Since moving to Floyd Co, KY in the 90’s, Norm has been a member of the Big Sandy Gospel Music Association, God’s Men Quartet, Harbormen Quartet, as well as sing a host of revivals, public events, and funerals.

Administrative Assistant Tanya Parker
 
Tanya grew up in McDowell, KY.  She accepted Christ as her Savior in April 2001 at Mount Freedom BC in Wilmore, KY.  After moving back home in July 2005, she and her family, became part of our church family.  She has served in our youth/children ministries, Sunday School teacher, Sew In Love Ministry, Jail Ministry, and as a local and international missionary.
 
Tanya is married to her husband Joe, and they have three daughters – Makayla, Grace and Allison.  They are a faithful and wonderful part of our church family.  She enjoys quilting, reading, and hunting with her “hubby”.
 
Tanya is a 1995 graduate of South Floyd High School, and holds a  degree in Accounting from the Big Sandy Community and Technical College in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.  She began her ministry as Administrative Assistant to the Pastor at FBC in February 2012.
