Pastor Tommy Reed
 
Tommy grew up at Sidney, KY and is a graduate of Belfry High School. It was at Sidney Missionary Baptist Church that he was born again thru faith in Christ in April 1979 at the age of 17. He served in many ministries and positions as a layman at SMBC and later at Belfry First Baptist. Tommy answered God’s call to His ministry in August 1997, being licensed and ordained in June 1998. He began his first pastorate with the precious people at McVeigh Baptist Church in McVeigh, KY in April 1998. Tommy had the wonderful privilege of beginning to serve with the precious people at the Fitzpatrick First Baptist Church of Prestonsburg, KY in November 2003 until today. Tommy is married to his high school sweetheart, Dawn Faulkner Reed, and has two beautiful children, Jessica and Matthew.  He really enjoys telling The Story, traveling, cooking, listening to music, old classic cars, sitting on the swing on the porch, visiting in the community, spending time with his dog Dixie, a good laugh, and being with family and friends.
 
Administrative Assistant Tonya Leslie, BSN, RN
 
Administrative Ministry Assistant, Tonya Leslie began her ministry duties with Fitzpatrick Baptist Church on May 2, 2021. Tonya has served Fitzpatrick Baptist Church for over 45 years as a teacher of small groups, deacon’s wife, and many other service areas. She is a retired nurse of 32 years. Tonya has lived in Floyd county and surrounding areas for the better part of 63 years. Tonya has been married to her husband Ralph 47 years; they have two grown children and three grandchildren. Tonya has a BSN degree in Nursing she has worked with the aging and at risk youth for her nursing career. Tonya is a graduate of Westlyn University for her BSN. Tonya graduated Prestonsburg Community College in 1991 with her Associate Degree in Nursing. The current position that Tonya serves the church in is one of Administrative and Clerical nature. She provides assistance to all ministry teams and serves as a liaison to others in the church and community.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
NORM MARCUM-MINISTER OF MUSIC
 
Norm, a Bell County native, has led the music services at Fitzpatrick Baptist Church since 2005, and has been involved in ministry work for the Lord for over 40 years. Norm is frequently called to sing for funeral services, revivals and other musical events in the community. Starting as a choir member and soloist at Binghamtown Baptist church, Norm has also travelled
professionally with gospel groups The Messengers of Middlesboro, God’s Men Quartet, The Harbormen Quartet and P-triple3 Praise Band. Norm and wife Kim have served in music and
youth ministries together since joining Fitzpatrick in 2004 and currently lead the Senior’s Ministry, as well as head up the technical teams of the church for services and broadcast.
Norm is a 1979 graduate of Middlesboro High School, 1982 Business Administration graduate of Lincoln Memorial University and 2013 Masters Graduate of University of the Cumberlands.
He is currently teaching Business and Careers in the Floyd County School system. Norm serves as President of the Big Sandy Chapter of the Sons of The American Revolution, having had
several ancestors serve in the Revolutionary War.
Norm and Kim Marcum live in Prestonsburg and love spending time with their son Jordan, his wife Aleshia and their sons Theodore and Sullivan (Theo & Sully). They love to travel and serve
the Lord together, and have done so since 1984.
